Andy White MSafLead BEng(Hons) GradNZISM
Managing Director, Coach, Consultant & Teaching Fellow

Andy is an experienced safety coach with over 18 years in the construction, logistics, transport and tourism industries.
Having established himself as an award winning civil engineer on major infrastructure projects in the UK and New Zealand, he turned his attention to business improvement particularly Safety, Quality and Environmental best practice. Over recent years he has been pivotal in the development of safety systems, cultures and processes for some of New Zealand’s most dynamic and complex organisations, from the isolated and unforegiving wilderness of Antarctica, to fast-paced remote tourism operations in Fiordland.
Andy’s broad understanding of business, operations, project management, and the social sciences, enable him to continually provide high-quality strategic plans and advice to Board members and senior management teams, that incorporate and account for dynamic and often uncertain operating conditions.
A postgraduate at Griffith University’s Safety Science Innovation Laboratory under Professor Sidney Dekker and Dr Drew Rae; Andy continues to commit a significant amount of his own personal time towards his ongoing development.
In his spare time he enjoys the great NZ wilderness by canyoning, kayaking, climbing and tramping, and is an Executive Member of the New Zealand Canyoning Association supporting the safe and sustainable growth of the sport within New Zealand.
